Right, here we are, Thomas and me at Mt. Rushmore. It was a whooping 29 degrees, but windchill brought that down to 12! We spent much more time in the gift shop than we did actually looking at the monument. It was impressive, but bone numbing cold. The good news was we had the entire mounument to ourselves (except the guy taking our picture).

Mt Rushmore or Bust!
Right, here we are, Thomas and me at Mt. Rushmore. It was a whooping 29 degrees, but windchill brought that down to 12! Brrrr! That sounds cold! I bet it was really cool to see despite the weather. I'm glad that you guys made it to South Dakota safely and seem to have had a good drive!
